These testimonials are taken from letters we have received this year…..
I have known the resident since 1991 when I first met her daughter. Her Daughter eventually becoming my future wife. In those days the resident was married and lived in Northampton.
Through circumstances she began to live on her own in Northampton. When her daughter and I used to go on our holidays then the resident would have respite care in St Christopher’s. So a relationship was built up and the resident used to look forward to coming to stay for a week in your home.
Just under a year ago in November 2016 after a slight fall she came to stay permanently with you.
Since that day I have noticed an improvement in her both mentally and her willingness to join in carrying out tasks that I had never seen her doing, painting, pottery, socializing and the latest scrumping!!!
Putting it quite simply, I Have Never Seen Her So Happy and Contented! And this is through the efforts of the WHOLE team at St Christopher’s. I can’t and won’t pick out a single person to mention here because my thanks goes to EVERYONE, front door staff through to back door staff you all work so kindly and effortlessly to make ALL of the residents feel number one and special. Together you achieve so very much.
This feeling that you get when you enter your premises comes from everyone, residents and workers, feeling valued.
Well done and thanks for looking after her and everyone else with 1st class care and respect.
